Interview:

What are your interests/hobbies?

My hobbies include mixing, eating Taco Bell, taking long walks on the beach, eating more Taco Bell, and dancing in public places until my parents tell me I am embarrassing them.

What got you into dancing?

I first danced on a Bollywood dance team for a high school assembly. I enjoyed it so much that I decided to dance in college as well.

What team(s) do you dance for? Why did you join? What positions have you held?

I have danced on ASU Andaaz, for the past two years, and originally joined it as a hobby. I love spending time doing something that can be shared with others, whom have same passion. This coming year, I will be the DJ for the team.

What has been your favorite moment so far? What are you most excited for?

My favorite moment was my first experience on stage, at Jhalak 2014, my freshman year. The adrenaline rush I got when I performed, for the first time on stage with my team, is something I will never forget. I am most excited to make my first team mix and see it come to life as my teammates dance.

Below are 3 fun facts about Saager:

  1. My team thinks I am a good DJ, but they have no idea what they are getting themselves into.
  2. My favorite dancing style is Bhangra. To clarify, I am not that good at it, but I like watching other people that are.
  3. I am terrible at the Facebook Messenger basketball game.
