This 1949 Mercury Eight coupe is finished in Berwick Green over two-tone green fabric upholstery and powered by a 255ci flathead V8 paired with a column-shifted three-speed manual transmission with overdrive. Equipment includes dual spot lights, a windshield visor, rear fender skirts, an AM radio, a heater, and a dual exhaust system. The car is said to have been kept as part of a museum collection for approximately 50 years and was acquired by the selling dealer in January 2023. This Mercury Eight is now offered with a display plaque and a clean Michigan title.

The car came finished from the factory in Berwick Green (18) and features dual spot lights, a windshield visor, rear fender skirts, pop-out rear windows, a hood ornament, chrome side moldings, and bumper overriders. Red-painted 15″ steel wheels with factory covers are wrapped in 215/75 wide whitewall tires. Braking is handled by four wheel drums.

The two-spoke Deluxe steering wheel frames a 110-mph speedometer flanked by auxiliary gauges displaying fuel level, oil pressure, battery charge, and coolant temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 27k miles.
