It is a very nice and beautiful climb to do. In the beginning of September, it wasn't very busy. The end of the climb is pretty steep.

Very nice climb, but due to bikers it can get a bit crowded although not too bad. Last 5 km the road narrows and remains very steep all the time. Rienk's comment to descend along the other side to the first hairpin bend is definitely worthwhile. There are nearby climbs to ski resorts of similar difficulty that may be closer! The other side is also worthwhile although in my opinion it is not worth descending as far as Stein an der Enns

The last 5km are really hellish. 10％ average. The part with hairpins between the trees is doable, but once you have had the last hairpin, you see the top in front of you. The road hardly seems to go up, but your legs don't want to go up anymore and your bike computer continuously says 12-14％. Add to that a north wind and it is a struggle to reach the top. But then you have a phenomenal view. Especially if you descend and do the south side (if you don't, descend 1 hairpin anyway). In the curve, a beautiful panoramic view over the valley and the waterfall).
