Description
Deutsch: Nordostansicht der Burg in der niederösterreichischen Gemeinde Feistritz am Wechsel.
Die Burg, südöstlich über dem Ort gelegen, wurde vermutlich im 12. Jahrhundert errichtet. Um 1500 fand ein spätgotischer Umbau bzw. eine Erweiterung statt. Ein weiterer großzügiger Umbau erfolgte ab 1685. 1815 kam die Anlage in den Besitz von Josef Dietrich (1780–1855), Freiherr von Dietrichsberg, der sie im Stil der Romantik erneuerte und ihr im Wesentlichen das heutige Erscheinungsbild gab, wobei der Torturm erst 1922/24 aufgestockt wurde.
