Description
Deutsch: Ostsüdostansicht des Stubenberghaus auf dem Gipfel des 1445 m hohen Stöckls in der steiermärkischen Gemeinde St. Radegund bei Graz und dahinter der Sender Stöckl.
Das nach dem Grafen Stubenberg benannte Haus wurde auf Initiative des Steirischen Gebirgsvereines (heutige Bezeichnung nach dem Zusammenschluss 1935 mit dem Alpenvereinː „Sektion Graz-St.G.V.“) ab 1889 nach Plänen von k.k. Prof. Friedrich Sigmundt errichtet und am 14./15. September 1890 feierlich eröffnet. 1930 erfolgte die Elektrifizierung des Schutzhauses und 1936 errichtete man die Südterrasseː [1]. Zum 100-Jahr Jubiläum (1990) wurde der zweigeschossige Bau mit Schopfwalmdach als erstes ÖAV-Schutzhaus unter Denkmalschutz gestelltː [2].
