Deutsch: "Das Wappen des Deutschen Reiches, der Reichsadler, schwarz mit rotem Schnabel, und roten Fängen, trägt auf der Brust den preussischen Wappenschild [...], dessen Adler mit dem Schilde von Hohenzollern belegt ist. Um den Hals des Reichsadlers schlingt sich die "Kette des preußischen Hohen Ordens vom Schwarzen Adler". Ueber dem Kopfe schwebt die deutsche Reichskrone, von der goldene, ornamental gemusterte Bänder abfliegen. Die Bänder fallen aber fort, sobald die Krone ohne den Reichsadler dargestellt wird."
