Deutsch: Die Gültigkeit der Wappen der Altgemeinden ist mit der Fusionierung am 1. Jänner 2015 erloschen. Die neue Marktgemeinde Eggersdorf bei Graz verfügte dann bis 29. Jänner 2016 über kein Wappen.
Mit Beschluss der Steiermärkischen Landesregierung vom 14. Jänner 2016 wurde der Marktgemeinde Eggersdorf bei Graz das Recht zur Führung eines Gemeindewappens ab 30. Jänner 2016 neu verliehen.
