Deutsch: Die Franz-Josef-Warte, auch als Kaiser-Franz-Joseph(s)-Warte bezeichnet, auf dem Gipfel des 443 m hohen Steinerwegberges und auf dem Gemeindegebiet der niederösterreichischen Marktgemeinde Hof am Leithaberge. Die Warte wurde anlässlich „40 Jahre Regentschaft Kaiser Franz Joseph I.“ von der Sektion Leithagebirge des Österreichischen Touristenclubs in Mannersdorf ab 1888 errichtet und am 18. August 1889 feierlich eröffnet. Die Warte ist ein achteckiger, acht Meter hoher Steinturm, auf dem sich ein Holzpavillon befindet. Um im Erdgeschoss den Innenraum voll nutzen zu können, wurde die steinerne Stiege an der Außenseite zum Obergeschoss emporgeführt und erst von dort führt im Inneren eine Holztreppe zur Aussichtsplattform: [1]. |
