The animated series, from showrunner Noelle Stevenson, first premiered last fall, based on the iconic ’80s characters that were introduced to the He-Man universe. This version has no He-Ra: instead, we get a team of princesses like Adora (slash She-Ra, played by Aimee Carrero), Glimmer (Karen Fukuhara), Perfuma (Genesis Rodriguez) and Mermista (Vella Lovell), who have united to help fight off the Horde, the evil army that raised Adora from birth. Netflix And still loyal to the Horde, Adora’s former best friend, Catra (AJ Michalka) who’s becoming more vicious as the fight against She-Ra and her allies ramps up.
