Directly from Spital am Pyhrn you can hike to the beautiful small mountain bathing lake Gleinkersee, by the way it is the warmest mountain lake in Upper Austria.

Description
Starting from the baroque Stiftskirche in Spital am Pyhrn you walk along the hiking trail number 1 of the Austraße, after approx.
15 minutes the trail branches off to the left, leads on a bridge over the A9-Pyhrnautobahn and then into the forest.
Partly the way leads a little steeper uphill and then flows into a forest road, on which you comfortably reach the Gleinkersee.
The trail ends at the Gleinkersee car park.
