In today’s post and video, I am sharing tips with the Suit and Tie Die. I have great tips to make these cards without frustration. I have with and without dies. It’s not every day that men need to wear a tie. I have the casual layback that is the no tie and the serious one that is the one with a tie I would say.

Suit and Tie
This set of dies is awesome for a quick and simple masculine card. I have some great tips in the video I strongly recommend watching it. I love the strip designer paper in the Well Suited Designer paper pack for the suit. The strip print stands out better than the other print.
The tie on this card is stamped using Memento Black ink on Pretty Peacock cardstock. Die-cut than emboss with the Tasteful Textile 3D folder for extra texture.
the card base for this one is Smoky Slate and the tie is Poppy Parade.
Measurement tie card
- Card Base 11 x 4¼ score at 5½
- Collar 2¼ x 1¼
- Tie and kerchief 4½ x 1½ (the kerchief stamp the point of the tie)
- Well Suited Designer paper 5½ x 4¼ Jacket, 4¾ x 3½ collar, with a scrap of the die-cut die, cut the little strip for the faux pocket for the kerchiefs.
- Sahara Sand ½ x 1½ for the neck
- Button 1 x ¾ Basic Gray or Basic Black

Many of the Well Suited designer paper prints are excellent for the men’s jacket and shirts.
Sport jacket without a tie
This would be my type of dress up if I would be a man 🙂 I know I wouldn’t be a tie kind of man.
The jacket is Night Of Navy cardstock embosses with the tasteful Texture 3D Folder. For the color to make the shirt I use the Stitched Shape Die the 2 smallest stitched circles dies.
Measurements
- Whisper White 11 x 4¼ score at 5½ card base, 2 x 1 collar
- Night Of Navy 5½ x 4¼ Jacket, 4¾ x 3½ collar, use scrap of the die-cut for the little faux pocket and buttons.
- Sahara Sand ½ x 1½ for the neck

Tie and Bowtie
after I was done with the video and I mention I didn’t know what was the 2 little pieces BOOM the light turn on and I realize it was the knots of the tie and bowtie. So I did a quick card yes quick and so simple. One is for the tie and the oval one is for both of the Bowtie. The small bowtie the oval being horizontal and the larger bowtie the oval will be vertical.
Measurements
- Whisper White 8½ x 5½ score at 4¼ card base, 5 x 3¾ top layer embossed with the Brick and Mortar 3D embossing Folder.
- Night of Navy 5¼ x 4
- Well Suited Designer paper 4½ x 2¼ for all die-cuts
