Peter Gallagher Joins GREY'S ANATOMY Season 18

I can’t believe that Grey’s Anatomy is still on the air! I actually used to watch the show in its early days, but it’s been years since then and I have no idea what’s going on now.

I normally wouldn’t even bother to post any news regarding the series, but it was recently announced that Peter Gallagher has been cast in the upcoming eighteenth season and I like Peter Gallagher! He’s appeared in several shows and films over the years such as The OC, Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist, Grace and Frankie, Californication, and more.

He will have a major arc in the show and is set to play Dr. Alan Hamilton, “who knew Ellis Grey (Kate Burton) back in the day and meets Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) in the season premiere.”

It’s explained that “Burton is also set to reprise her role as Meredith’s late mother Ellis Grey in the Season 18 premiere, it is conceivable that the show could flash back to Ellis and Alan’s story.”

The show is set to return on September 30th.
