Finding light for Tradescantia White Stripes in your home
Tradescantia White Stripes may have difficulty thriving, and will drop leaves 🍃, without ample sunlight.
Place it less than 3 feet from a south-facing window to maximize the potential for growth.

How to fertilize Tradescantia White Stripes
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Tradescantia White Stripes after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Crispy brown patches on the leaves of my plant. It hangs behind a sheer white curtain in a south facing window. #TradescantiaNanouk

🤞🏼Here’s to hoping!🥺 I’ve been trying to figure out what was making this guy droopy and dry leaves at the base. I’ve checked the roots, given him new succulent soil mix. I’ve changed lighting -too much/too little. I happened across a YouTube video about house plants to never have and decided to watch it. In this video it listed this plant and ran down a list of things that can happen, every one of them I’ve been seeing with this guy. Then it went on to say when this happens trim it shorter. (I don’t remember all of the ‘why’) Nothing else has seemed to perk him up, so here’s to hoping. 🤞🏼 I trimmed a good 6”+ (12” in some spots) off all around and will be propping all of that together. Then had to find him a new home because I filled his previous spot. #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #PlantTherapy #GregGang #BeforeAndAfter #PlantLove
