Monstera adansonii var laniata

This is a rare form of Monstera adansonii tha has thinner leaves and an exquisite velvety surface. When juvenile the leaves have a longer shape and possess very few fenestrations, as the leaves mature they become rounder and much larger number of fenestrations. They grow larger when attached to a surface to climb such as a pole or tree. This particular form despises direct sunlight so it makes a great houseplant where it can grow best in indirect light. Water whe the substrate is completely dry and fertilize once a month.
