Zusammenfassung
Zur Häufigkeit berufsbedingter akneiformer Hautveränderungen gibt es nur wenige Angaben. Laut Bericht der „European Agency for Safety and Health at Work“ aus dem Jahr 2008 machen sie zusammen mit Erkrankungen wie dem beruflichen Hautkrebs und der Kontakt-Urtikaria weniger als 10 % der Berufserkrankungen der Haut aus, während mehr als 90 % dem Kontaktekzem zuzuordnen sind. Ein häufiger Auslöser beruflich bedingter Akne ist der Kontakt zu Ölen und Teer. Seltener sind aromatische Halogenkohlenwasserstoffe oder physikalische Einwirkungen, wie mechanische Reize, Wärme oder UV-Strahlung, für die Entstehung verantwortlich. Die Effloreszenzen sind meist monomorph. Häufig finden sich Komedonen (Teerakne), im Falle der Chlorakne auch Zysten. Chlorakne gilt als wichtiger Hinweis für eine systemische Vergiftung.
