Gina M.Manhattan, NY022Apr 17, 2018I have a terrible scar from MOHS . When I went back for the follow up after the MOHS surgery he wasn't available to see me. The nurse took out stitches. I got an infection went back to office it turned out that a stitch had been left in by mistake. The nurse removed it and gave me an antibiotic ointment
When I went back for the MOHs follow up with the doctor I waited over 4 hours then when I was finally put in the examining room I was told it would be another 2 hours so I left. Terribly run office uncaring doctor.

Monica G.Wellington, FL1773Jun 23, 2016Went in for a basic skin procedure and did not feel welcome or comfortable in the least bit. Before even introducing himself, he asked what the bump (pimple) on my face was. Doctor was very arrogant and was rude to the girl assisting him. Once I asked about pricing, he said he can waive certain fees for his "poor patients." I highly recommend going to someone else.

My daughter was attacked by a rottweiler at age 6 and required several hundred stitches to her face.
Dr Pillersdorf was kind enough to come to a hospital he was not even an attendee at to tend to my daughter when we could not find anyone else we called out of the phone book. It was a 4th of July weekend, and all the Plastic Surgeons were all out of town. Dr Pillersdorf did a phenomenal job. She is now 19 years old and her scarring is barely visible. He had an incredible bedside manner and even personally took on our insurance company to have her follw-up surgery approved even though it was considered "cosmetic". Everyone kept telling me this guy was the best so I trusted him to do some facial repair resulting from a car accident. This guy will do anything you ask him to do, whether or not he has any experience doing that specific type of surgery. Do yourself a favor and find a plastic surgeon with experience specific to what you want done.
