Dr. Rauth is highly competent and personable. He is UCLA educated and instills confidence in his patients. Additionally, Dr. Rauth is a good communicator.

I highly recommend him for dental surgery.

I love this dentist. i had a horrendous tooth ache this week and had an appt scheduled to see Dr Rauth for a consultation. Once I got there, they knew I needed some relief. He numbed my mouth to relieve the pain & asked me to return later so that he could proceed to diagnose/fix the problem. I returned home to have my husband drive me back afterwards. We returned after their office would normally have been closed to have Dr Rauth work on my tooth. He was explicit in what was abt to take place. He was calm and reassuring. (I've never had major dental work before). As he proceeded, he explained every sound and what the next step would be, reassuring me the entire time. Afterwards, he explained (as he'd warned me up front) that in fact my tooth was totally split down through the root, & recommended me to have an implant by another specialist. (going this a.m). He explained everything to my husband and even walked us to our car! (It was late at this point.) What a personal, great guy. He made an (almost) root canal delightful! PS. you might get even better treatment if you like the music of Jack Johnson!

Dr Rauth is truly an incredible person and dentist. I was not only having a tough day but I was also having a difficult to diagnose dental problem. Dr Rauth is a brilliant diagnostician and figured out the problem with my tooth after a very thorough exam and then he even took the time hear all of my worries related my teeth and my dental stress. He cares about his work deeply, he is very knowledgeable and experienced with very difficult dental problems and he put my mind at ease. I highly recommend him for any dental problem you may have. Dr. Rauth is a brilliant endodontist. I am so lucky and appreciative that Dr. Rauch did my root canal, which turned out to be an absolutely painless process because of him. He was able to immediately help me with the extreme pain and suffering I was going through. It was such a weight off my shoulders to actually have someone listen and walk me through all my dental issues in a clear, easily understandable manner. Highly recommend Dr. Rauth!!! Also, his administrative staff and support staff are all extremely kind and helpful!

Dr. Rauth and his assistant Diane are absolutely fabulous. I had never had a root canal completed and it was my first. I had always hear horrible stories of the pain and scary-ness of having a root canal. Well he explains everything that's happening, even though I couldn't feel a thing since I was numbed up good. He was so gentle I almost fell asleep during the process. Diane was sweet and personable. If I ever need another root canal, I know where I am headed!

Beyond blown away. His assistant and himself. Just next level.The best treatment, comfort, encouragement, and security ive ever felt with a dentist office let alone a specialist. Super rare and damn i feel lucky. They got me in day of and got someone there to get me sedated immediately after wkend- who was equally awesome. They stayed so late and sacrifice their own families to be there for patient...and I'm grateful. Beyond. Thank ur Dr. also- they are so real, honest, and witty.
Oddly wish for another root canal. And he doesn't judge when u come off meds for what u say. Just saying.

This doctor is excellent. Dr. Rick Rauth is currently treating me for a rather complicated case, which involves significant bone loss and several dead teeth from previous orthodontia. I was, naturally, horrified at discovering I essentially have a hole in my face. I had a million questions and Dr. Rauth was very kind, patient, and knowledgeable when answering all of them. He took the time to explain all the details about why this happened (including the physiology of why the body reacts this way), what he would do to fix it, and what I could expect as a result. He was very sympathetic, but he also didn't sugarcoat the message - he was very upfront about the realities and risks. His detailed knowledge and his confidence in being able to restore the bone and preserve all of my teeth have been very comforting. He has taken a cautious approach to my care, only doing a root canal where he absolutely had to. At my first appointment, he stayed until 7:30 PM on a Friday calling pharmacies to make sure they had the prescription I needed so I wouldn't be driving all over town. And when I had a concern about swelling from the infection that caused all of this, he had me come into the office to confirm that everything was OK and to alleviate the pressure, rather than having me wait for my follow-up appointment. Very soon he will be doing the surgery to remove the infected bone and place a barrier that will allow my body to regrow the bone where it belongs. I feel very fortunate to have found such an expert to deal with such a complicated issue.
