"The Gastof zum Malerwinkl is a great place a bit off some of the tourist attractions in the region. We went there for lunch and were really surprised by the quality of the food. The dishes are not only perfectly executed but all feature a twist putting them well above the price level. The fish soup and the pumpkin soup both were great, with the pumpkin soup maybe being the best I ever had. They are specialised in local ingredients and for the main we had local fish. Also cooked perfectly and overall an extremely well composed plate. The wine list is also worth special mentioning. If you are somewhere in the area, make the effort and go there. Really worth it!"
