Transformers Rise Of The Dark Spark Trailer

Rise of the Dark Spark is planned to unite the universe of the films directed by Michael Bay with the “Cybertron universe” as seen in previous video games. The game will feature over 40 playable characters and will launch this June for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Wii U and PC from developer Edge of Reality. A 3DS version is also planned from WayForward.

Serving as a follow-up to both the upcoming “Transformers” live-action film and Activision’s Transformers: War for Cybertyron and Transformers: Fall of Cybertron titles, Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark jumps worlds and factions as it weaves the tale of the hunt for an ancient relic as powerful as the Matrix of Leadership — the Dark Spark. Players will be able to switch between the heroes of the noble Autobots and the nefarious Decepticons throughout the single-player campaign. Similar to High Moon Studios’ “Cybertron” entries in the highly-regarded series, gameplay features nimble, fast-paced running-and-gunning combat paired with traversal and vehicle action across open battlefields for large-scale, dynamic conflicts.

Thanks, Jester

  1. Nintendo needs to get more survival horror/stealth game support for WiiU since those kinda games benefit from gamepad for example Splinter Cell,DeusEx,Zombiu,ResidentEvil rather than some transformers shit.

      1. sad but true, they should had put lots of advertisement together with ubisoft for Zombiu and Splinter Cell, same goes for DeusEx together with squareenix they should had promoted why WiiU version is definitive etc. But all they show to masses is party games and no one knows to buy those M rated titles even if they are avalaible.

      2. Nintendo Commander Quadraxis

Says the one that promotes himself as a kid, complains like a kid, is a kid and accepts the casual way of thinking…

But the worst thing is probably still that you want the most outdated machine of the last generation…

    1. Hey nintendo can you make more mario games on the wii and transformers because i really want the wii u but its so expensive

  2. it strange when i go eshop to check an m rated for wiiu and 3ds, it say you cant view content for you this age. WTF nintendo now you restrict people under age not to able to view m rated games on eshop

    1. Nintendo´s view is the same as it was in 90´s and is to keep that Family friendly image which hasnt benefited them in years. I mean Sony became so succesful because they showed middle finger to Nintendo model and promoted all kinds of games for all kinds of ages. Atleast they dont censor their games anymore.

      1. no wounder hardly any third party games comes or doesnt sell well. nintendo wants their kiddy games shine while third party dies and collect the liscensing money from them. greedytendo confirmed.

      2. Yeah, I mean… It’s not like they’ve published any M-rated games like Geist, Eternal Darkness and Perfect Dark.

    2. You know who else restricts under age people from viewing bad content? Xbox, Playstation, Youtube, Steam, hmm, TV, the internet search providers, and whatever else you can think of.

  3. Why do videos from this site only play audio on the Wii U? You would think a Nintendo site would know a lot of people will probably use their Wii U to log on with, so why not use proper settings for viewing on a Nintendo console?

  4. if this has online multiplayer like fall of cybertron and war ill get this on wii u. i sold my xbox and ps so i really want to play something online

  6. Looks cool, hope they don’t give us a bare-bones version on the Wii U because that’s the version I’m getting. Hope they have more online modes than Escalation, like Conquest and Team Deathmatch. Also, I call dibs on Optimus Prime.
