Jerry Stiller recovering in hospital after medical ‘episode’

Actor Jerry Stiller had a medical “episode” and is recovering in a Big Apple hospital, a family friend told The Post on Thursday

The 91-year-old “Seinfeld” star and father of “Zoolander” actor Ben Stiller was hospitalized Wednesday night, and was stable and resting by the morning, the chum said.

“He had some sort of episode and they wanted to be cautious,” the pal said, responding to a published report Wednesday night that claimed he suffered a stroke.”There’s no evidence of a stroke.”

Stiller is currently under observation. He is expected to be released and return home by the weekend.

The Brooklyn-born funnyman is best known for his role as George Costanza’s cantankerous dad Frank on the hit NBC sitcom.

Stiller’s wife Anne Meara, with whom he had Ben and Amy Stiller, died in 2015.
