HR Giger Museum Bar
I have always wanted to visit the HR Giger Museum but there is entirely too much to post about there. So today I’m going to focus only on the museum bar.
The womb-like interior of the otherworldly environment that is the H.R. Giger Museum Bar is a cavernous, skeletal structure covered by double arches of vertebrae that crisscross the vaulted ceiling of an ancient castle.
With its bone-colored furniture and awe inspiring interior design, the wing of the castle that houses the Museum Bar has a a truly organic feel. The cast concrete surfaces of the bar furnishings have been polished to the point that they are skin soft to the touch, enhancing the impression of being inside a once living creature, of sitting on something, perhaps less than alive, but very warm and enveloping just the same.
Has anyone been to this marvelous place? If so…please tell me about it!

Wow. I would love to be the guy who opens the place up in the morning. Pop in, sit on a bone-throne and cackle an evil laugh. Ahhhh… what might have been were I evil enough. Damn conscience!

Abington Park Museum school tripOn the 29th of febuary the whole school went to Abington park museum first we got on the buses and drove to the museum secondly we went and saw the birds there was peacocks, cockerels and budgies they were really noisy then we went inside the museum and went into the Egyptian room there was a mummy and a mummified hand and foot also saw lots of Egyptian rocks they were really pretty. Then we went into the war bit there was lots of models with army cloths on and there was lots of guns and swords too we also saw a whole room of names of people that died in Northampton in the war and we saw lots of medals that people had won in the war there were a lot of medals and they were very colourfulthen we all went into a room and every thing in it was made from leather there was even queen Victoria’s side saddle there and a king’s chest and we found some felly boxes and you could put your hand in and feel what was inside after that we went into a room called the olk room the walls were completely made from wood and there was a information board with things that you had to spot on it then we went up stairs and looked at the dresses they were really nice and we saw some toys that some people still plat with today then we got back on the buses and went back the school for our lunch.
