Jedenspeigen Castle in the market town of Jedenspeigen. The two-storey quadrangular building with a moat was mentioned in writing in 1296. In 1278, the battle between Rudolf von Habsburg and Ottokar II took place near the castle. From 1295 to 1497, a knightly family of Jedenspeigen (Idunspeugen) appeared as owners, later the family of Steinpeiß. From 1524 to 1574 the Lambergs took over the property. After Georg Clam Martinic, General Konrad von Pappenheim took over the castle in 1578, which subsequently passed into the possession of the Barons von Kollonitsch in 1585. In 1874, Max Count Kollonitsch bequeathed the castle and manor to the Archdiocese of Vienna. Since 1985, the castle has belonged to the market town of Jedenspeigen. Nothing remains of the medieval building. Today’s castle is a four-winged building from the 16th and 17th centuries. The castle displays an exhibition on the Battle of Dürnkrut and Jedenspeigen.
