The village of Mutters received connection with Innsbruck thanks to the Stubai Valley Railway in 1904.

Mutters is a municipality in the Innsbruck-Land (administrative district) in the state of Tyrol located 4.70 km south of Innsbruck. It has a population of 2,073 (in 2014)

Main industry of this village is dairy farming, however, the almost husbands work in Innsbruck and wives are in charge of agriculture.
