The village of Mutters received connection with Innsbruck thanks to the Stubai Valley Railway in 1904.
Mutters is a municipality in the Innsbruck-Land (administrative district) in the state of Tyrol located 4.70 km south of Innsbruck. It has a population of 2,073 (in 2014)
The village was first mentioned in 1100 but settlement already began approximate 3000 years ago.
Main industry of this village is dairy farming, however, the almost husbands work in Innsbruck and wives are in charge of agriculture.
The locals baked bread for one week or ten days at a time by this stone oven in old days.
