Skiing in a class of its own is possible in the Silvretta Arena Ischgl/Samnaun, which is only 5 km (~3 miles) away from the Wiesenhof. With 239 ski slopes, this cross-border ski resort offers countless highlights for a unique skiing vacation in the Tyrolean mountains. 45 modern mountain cable cars and lifts transport you from one slope adventure to the next. The special slopes and snow parks provide that extra bit of action. A free ski bus will take you to your skiing adventure.

The Kappl ski resort promises you an unforgettable winter vacation with the whole family. 4 black, 13 red, and 5 blue slopes extend over 42 km (26 miles) of perfectly groomed slopes, guaranteeing skiing fun for every level. The modern cable cars and lifts will get you to the slopes quickly, so you can get the most out of every ski day. In order to give your children the ideal introduction to skiing, the team at the Kappl Active Ski School (Skischule Kappl Aktiv) or the Flaxis Children’s Ski School (Flaxis Kinderskischule) will be happy to assist you. The bus stop of the free ski bus is right outside our front door.

Kappl toboggan run

The 6 km (4 miles) long toboggan run in Kappl runs from the Diasbahn towards the valley and guarantees tobogganing fun for the whole family. Every Tuesday you can also enjoy a safe toboggan run at night with moonlight tobogganing.

Cross-country skiing

The cross-country skiing network in Paznaun consists of 73 connected km (45 miles) of trails and is therefore a true paradise for all cross-country skiing enthusiasts. There are trails here for both skating and classic cross-country skiing. This rightly makes Paznaun one of the 10 most popular cross-country skiing regions in Tyrol.
