Obituary of Robert David Suben

Robert David Suben, beloved son of Mark and Susan Suben, beloved brother of Jesse Suben, died Sunday evening April 27, 2014, in a one-car accident. He was alone and was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. He was 27 years old. Robby was born March 11, 1987 in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, and lived with his family in Peekskill, NY until moving with them to Skaneateles then to Cortland. He attended Skaneateles schools from kindergarten to eighth grade, then attended Cortland High School from ninth to twelfth grade, graduating with the Class of 2005. He was a Bar Mitzvah in 2000. He briefly attended community college, and was proud to become a very capable machinist and CNC operator. He was predeceased by his four grandparents. Robby had a large appetite for life. He had many, many friends in his short time with us. He had a sweet nature, a quick wit and strong feelings, but somehow never found peace in this world. He was loved by those who knew him, and most of all by his family. There will be calling hours at Wright Beard, at 9 Lincoln Avenue, on Wednesday, April 30, between 4pm and 6:30pm, with a memorial service to immediately follow. Contributions may be made in Robby’s name to the SPCA, Cortland, NY, or a charity of your choice.
