Calling all Stranger Things fans — join us in fangirling over Millie Bobby Brown's latest post on the 'Gram, which looks like a nod to co-star Winona Ryder's looks from the 1990s.
On February 16, the Enola Holmes actor posted a photo with her beauty brand, Florence By Mills, which launched in 2019. In the picture, which you can see here, Brown wears her short bob haircut bumped inward at the bottom and with front-facing bangs.
Looking off to her right side, she's in red lipstick, minimal eye makeup, and a bit of contouring while holding up four of her brand's new lip liner pencils, which accentuate her rounded nude manicure. Her new lip liner arrives within her Color In Wonderland collection, which is filled with new highlighters, bronzers, lip glosses, and more. She's also wearing a black and white polka-dotted dress with puffy sleeves and a white lace-trimmed collar.
"POV: deciding which @florencebymills mark my words lip liner shade to use next…," she captioned the photo.
While she was clearly referencing Alice in Wonderland with this new collection, we don't think it's a coincidence that she looks exactly like Winona Ryder in the early 1990s, when she was known for her dark bob and perpetually red lips (as shown above in the film The House of the Spirits from 1992). With similar red lipstick and curled bob, it's possible that Brown was trying to mimic one of Ryder's most iconic looks. It would make sense if Brown was trying to pay her respects through her beauty brand with a co-star and role model as talented as Ryder.
It's exciting to think about Brown's new campaigns and the future products that we might see from Florence By Mills. Plus, while we're on the topic, Brown posted two teaser photos for the fourth and final season of Stranger Things, and we can't wait to see what will happen to Eleven and Joyce.
