How many spaces are there for bikes?
50 spaces are available per train for bicycle transport on the Tauern motorail (own bike wagon from the end of April to mid-October).
Ticket purchase on site / reservation option?
You can purchase tickets for your bike (€ 5 Euros) directly on-site. Unfortunately, it is not possible to reserve spaces for bicycle transport.
Reservation options (incl. bicycle) is available for the IC/EC trains between Bad Gastein and Mallnitz or vice-versa.
Is transport by minibus incl. bike trailer possible?
Cars up to 3.5 tons total weight and trailer (max. total length 12.50 m) are transported for € 27 Euros per trip. Attention: The transport regulations must be observed (max. 2.50 m width, 3.60 m height, 12.5 m length).
Are there alternatives for larger groups?
For the IC/EC train between Bad Gastein and Mallnitz or return, booking requests are possible via the ÖBB group reservation office. Timetable and prices under www.oebb.at
