Build quality is good. Nice tubing, nice welds, strong metal floor, OK wheel. The method of connecting the trailer to the bike works well, and I like the fact that I can go from load hauler to trail bike and back again simply by attaching and detaching the trailer. I quite like the included dry bag. The included bungee cords are good but their hook openings are a touch small for the tubing. The bungee hook holes in the gussets are a nice touch. I did have to add a 1/16" nylon washer on the pivot tube, as the internal sleeve in which the (long) pivot bolt runs was about 1/16" longer than the outer tube of the pivot tube assembly. The pivot tube is the part where the trailer fork arms join.
The dry bag can hang over the front of the trailer and then be rubbed on by the bike rear tire. Not a biggie, and I certainly wouldn't want a solution that added weight to the trailer.
I did about 5 miles on the bike with 25 pounds in the trailer, and the bike handled like there was no trailer. I could make pretty much any agressive move with the bike. When I did 26 miles at 45 pounds, I was not comfortable pedaling out of the saddle, as side to side oscillations could begin that were disconcerting. Acceleration in the saddle was fine. No problems with rough terrain, curbs, acceleration (in the saddle) or deceleration. I would not feel comfortable performing any quick moves. I did 4 miles at 72 pounds, with the dry bag so full of groceries that I couldn't close it (I used a cargo net to hold it down and the contents in). The challenge of pulling the trailer was significant. I had to make a very concerted effort not to induce side to side movement in the bike, as it was picked up by the trailer, magnified, and fed back to the bike as unwanted lateral oscillation. These oscillations could be large enough to impart angular momentum into the front wheel and affect steering control. If I was very cautious about bike position, especially in turns and under higher pedal pressure, things were fine.
At least some of my issues with heavier loads is not trailer related. In both the 45# and 72# cases, the weight in the trailer was relatively tall and not well distributed. Also, the load probably had too much flexibility to shift side to side. I was testing with my commuter wheels, which aren't in the best shape and may be contributing to the oscillation issues. Finally, my bike is a super-light Titanium hard-tail -- it's possible that the frame may not be able to support a one wheeled trailer with as much weight as a heavier and stronger bike could handle. I plan to investigate these issues and update my review after I've learned more. I suppose my 4 star review is predicated on finding a way to increase the carrying weight while retaining the stellar performance I saw with 25#.
I've had up to 80lbs of groceries in it, carried water in the desert, and camping gear on trails. The trailer doesn't effect stability as much as you might think, less shimmy than panniers in my experience. When I'm running around town shopping, I barely notice it's there except the pedals need a little more stomping. The design has a narrow track, less than my body on the bike, so I'm able to snake through parked cars to get to the bike racks. Turning into a built-in kickstand is a nice bonus feature.
It kind of sucks that you need a hacksaw to shorten the skewer. You used to not have to do this, as far as I can remember. So it's not exactly a turn-key trailer. (Just calling you out on that, BOB.) I didn't enjoy the assembly, but the parts went together as they should. The dry bag isn't really a all that. It looks like dry bag material but it's thinner and plastic, not rubberized fabric, so don't get your hopes up. It has the wrong kinds of latches at the end for a roll-down. Pokey object will go through the bag, and dragging it will wear a hole in it pretty easily. Basically, don't buy it because of the bag although it is reliable at keeping items from getting wet.
One thing to consider regarding this design over the two-wheelers out there... if you have fat tires *and* need to use fenders, you might have a clearance problem. I do. The hinge at U-shaped tongue presses the fender into the tire and causes problems. I needed to modify the rear fender by shortening it, which looks a little weird when the trailer isn't being used. I which they would have made the arms an inch longer. For your reference, my wheels have 35mm tires on 700c rims and the fenders are 45mm.
Otherwise, this Beast of Burden is the Best of Burden for touring and getting those groceries.

The one wheel design lets it lean with the bike on corners for a sure footed feel at speed or not. it travels at speed around corners with ease. Highly recommended.
