Will this USB socket work the USB Plug on the 17' RSV4 RR hidden beneath the windscreen. The 17' RF USB socket listed by Aprilia is well over a $100. Anyone know if this part will work as an alternative to the expensive OEM part?

Yes it will work as it has the correct 2 pin AMP connector.
Only issue may be the length of cable to mount it where you want, as it looks a little short, hard to tell from pic.
Give AF1 a call or email & ask them. They don't mind you asking questions, good people they are.

Yes it does have it, you need to pull the screen off - 4 screws, then 2 screws to pull the cover at the back of the dash, inside that cover somewhere is located a 2 pin AMP connector with a tag on the wire saying USB, mine was right at the bottom tucked to one side, took me while to find it.Originally Posted by avago
