COTTAGE GROVE, Wis. (October 18, 2022) – Matrix Fitness announced a new partnership today with esteemed running coach Rick Muhr as a new Matrix Brand Ambassador.
Muhr, with over 45 years of experience, has trained over 20,000 runners throughout the world and has completed 32 marathons himself. He is the founder of the Marathon Coalition, a team of education-based and health-based charities training runners for marathons throughout the world.
As a brand ambassador, Muhr will deliver on the Matrix total solutions promise by strengthening connections via motivational speaking engagements and creating expert content applicable to health club owners, trainers and members. In addition, Muhr will consult with the development teams at Matrix to bring his coaching methodology and experience to their products and solutions.

Muhr has been recognized by The Portland Press Herald, Worcester Telegram and UMASS Memorial Medical Center for his unwavering positive attitude after enduring traumatic injuries in a 2021 bicycle accident.

He will be sharing his story and expertise at industry conferences and events, starting with a speaker session titled “The Power of Positivity” at the 2022 Club Industry Executive Summit on Oct. 18 at 4:30 p.m. CDT.
