Fulpmes is one of a handful of villages clustered along the beautiful Stubai Valley (Stubaital). Situated some 930 metres ASL, it is at the end of tram route STB that takes you into the heart of Innsbruck in an hour and is ideal for alighting at stops from which to trek through the meadows and forests. Good base to explore Stubai region. Though local tax may be higher than other places and there is additional road toll to access the region, the use of Stubai guest card to cover mountain cable cars and car parking cost provide convenience and enjoyment.

We stayed at Gasthof Gröbenhof on our way to Italy.
We stayed at Gasthof Gröbenhof on our way to Italy. We have never seen such a clean accomodation as Gröbenhof. Our bedroom and bathroom were both big and very comfortable. Dinner on the night of arrival and breakfast the next day were both very good. Recommended for a sleepover!

The hotel itself, the breakfast buffet was really good, everything you could ask for! The hotel has two nice pools, indoor and a natural one outside. They also have massage services but unfortunately we were too late to book! Our room had lots of space and was very comfortable. The kids indoor playground is an added bonus and so is their afternoon tea with pastries and cakes! I highly recommend this hotel and would gladly stay again!

Silvia made us feel very welcomed and shared a lot of insights on places to visit in the area. Thanks to that we've seen much more than we could've expected, enjoyed every bit of it. And Stubai Super Card that lets you use many cable cars in the area for free was another nice bonus. We're definitely coming back!
