Company info

Renata and Nico, your hosts, are a retired (sort of) professional couple who enjoy meeting new people and providing them hospitality in our beautiful converted former farm house. Nico is originally from Holland and Renata from Slovakia, so we cover a range of languages between us. We've both had long, international, careers in the pharmaceutical industry. We only rent out the apartments when we are in Reisach ourselves, so you can be assured of our best attention when you arrive and during your stay. We are happy to spend some time with our guests, but will respect your privacy if you want to be left alone. We also have a lovely, very friendly dog, a Staffordshire bullterrier called Dendi who will welcome you. Prepare for a cuddle! We love walking in the mountains and forests with the dogs, skiing (no surprise here), travelling, scuba diving, motorcycling, sailing, DIY, good food and even better wine or beer.

Property info

The apartments are in an old farmhouse and all enjoy wonderful views over the valley and the mountains from the south facing balconies. The kitchens are well equipped with oven and hob, microwave oven, Nespresso coffeemaker, fridge freezer and in some a dishwasher. A boot dryer for ski, snowboard and walking shoes is available for all apartments. The two larger apartments also have a dry-buddy to dry your wet clothes after skiing or walking as well as . We also provide, on request and for a fee, access to a washer and dryer. The nearest supermarkets are 2.4 km (ADEG) and 2.7 km (Billa) from the apartments in Kirchbach.

Neighborhood info

The skiing resort Nassfeld (12km from us) has 110 kilometres of pistes, 30 modern cable cars and lifts and an incomparable mountain panorama as well as many surprise moments along the piste. The lake Weissensee (44km from us) is a great place for ice-skating. From warming up on a cold winter's day to a great alternative activity for a rainy afternoon, the indoor swimming pools and thermal baths in Nassfeld are great for tourists, day visitors and locals looking for fun and relaxation. Aqaurena (wellness center) with pools for adults and children, sauna a massage opportunities is only 13.5km from us. Over 1000 km of marked hiking trails and 26 themed walks are a great way for visitors to find out about the history and traditions of Carinthia. Couples and families can enjoy the friendly, cosy atmosphere in the many mountain huts in the Carnic Alps and Gailtal Alps. The Nassfeld region is famous for its food. Certain products such as Gailtaler Speck (dried bacon), Gailtaler Almkäse (cheese) and Gailtaler Räucherlachs (smoked salmon) have won several awards and are available not only to buy but also to taste in many of the region's huts and restaurants.
