The village has only 800 inhabitants and the streets are small. That is why people like to leave their cars there and stroll to the various sports and leisure facilities on foot instead. This cosiness and the enticing attraction, especially for children, are also the reason that families flock here. Another reason is the rather excellent toboggan run. Dienten is not necessarily known for its exuberant après-ski, which makes it all the more attractive for holidaymakers who want to enjoy peace and tranquillity.
