Wallendorf porcelain figures - Schaubach Kunst, 3 music playing children

Vintage Lot of 3 Wallendorf/Schaubach Kunst Porcelain Figurines of Children with Instruments, made in Thuringia, Germany, ca. 1953-1962. Each child measures between 11.5 cm and 12 cm tall . Many collectors don't realize that Wallendorf and Schaubach Kunst Porcelain Figurines were made at the same factory. In fact, Wallendorf was the name of the area of the factory located in Thuringia, Germany, originating in 1764. In 1932, the Wallendorf Porcelain Factory was purchased by Heinz Schaubach, hence the Schaubach Kunst crown marks were developed. (‘Kunst’ is the German word for artistry). In 1953, this Factory was taken over by the East German Government, although it continued using a Schaubach Kunst crown mark until 1962. After 1958, the Factory went back to a Wallendorf mark. The authentic marks on these children with musical instruments indicate they were all made at the Wallendorf Factory between 1953-1962. These children are holding different musical instruments including a drum, guitar and accordion. Will be carefully packaged and shipped.
