CHICO — Austin Jena Krause and Matthew Ericksen Liesch exchanged marriage vows June 30 at the home of her parents, Paul and Mary Krause. The ceremony was officiated by the bride’s brother, Adam Krause.
Liesch is the son of John and Pat Liesch of Racine, Wis.
She graduated from Chico High School in 2003 and received a bachelor’s degree in environmental science from UC Berkeley in 2007. She received a master’s of science in geography from University of Wisconsin, Madison, in 2010.
He received bachelor’s, master’s and a Ph.D. from University of Wisconsin in geography.
They took a trip to Vancouver, B.C., Canada and live in Mt. Pleasant, Mich. They teach at Central Michigan University.
