Situated at the end of the Santa Fe Trail and surrounded by several museums, this Taos Pueblo replica just a block from the historic plaza "captures the spirit of the landscape." "Beautiful guest rooms" have adobe walls, beamed ceilings with vigas and latillas, handcrafted doors, and kiva fireplaces, but are "a little too dark" for some. Luminaria Restaurant uses fruits, vegetables, and spices from local farmers and meat from regional ranchers in its cuisine. The spa "surpasses expectations," with treatments like a Native Desert Sage Massage and an Asian Fusion Massage that combines shiatsu, Thai, and Balinese therapies.
