This awkward social experiment underscores the idea that it's important to focus on more in-depth details about a person rather than rely on superficial dating apps and similar attempts at digital matchmaking. The vulnerable position that the participants are put in is intended to encourage them to be more genuine with each other during the process.

Undressed is voyeuristic, and feels even more so when participants are asked to do more risqué things like silently flirting, kissing, and (sort of) simulating sexual activity. Nonetheless, it may give viewers old enough to handle it some food for thought when it comes to thinking about the kinds of things we should really be thinking about when looking for someone to love.
