Bad Goisern am Hallstättersee is located in the center of the inner Salzkammergut and offers the perfect combination of location, landscape, culture, infrastructure and a wide range of jobs. Not only the idyllic lake, but also the surrounding cycling and hiking trails and, in winter, the proximity to the Dachstein-West Gosau ski area offer unlimited opportunities for those hungry for exercise. Crafts, folk culture and customs are more alive here than in almost any other place in the Salzkammergut! Since December 1997, the Hallstatt - Dachstein, Salzkammergut region has been on the UNESCO World Heritage List as Austria's contribution. In both Bad Goisern and Hallstatt, countless stores, coffee houses, inns and restaurants invite you to linger.
