Jagini Zagersdorf Blaufränkisch 2012

The 2012 vintage of this joint project between Roland Velich (Moric) and Hannes Schuster (Rosi Schuster) continues to elevate what a Blaufrankisch wine can be. Harvested from old vines in one of the top sites in all of Burgenland, the Jagini delivers its usual intensity while maintaining a nice acidity that brings the whole thing into perfect balance.

Seductive on the nose, with aromas of fruit leather, violet and lavender, while the palate sports sanguine notes and flavors of elderberry, dark cherry and bergamot. Complex and beautifully integrated, but still showing some tannins and freshness. Drink now through 2026.
