“Ik ben vandaag zo vrolijk, zo vrolijk, zo vrolijk”
Alfred J Kwak was a series, written by Dutch comedian Herman van Veen (who also sings the Dutch opening) and I loved it so much, even if the second half of the series was perhaps a little too complicated for little me. The series starts with Aflred as a cute, little duckling, but as he grows up, the series actually discusses some mature topics, like racism, apartheid, corruption and politics among other things. A very cool series to watch, even as an adult. And sidenote; I absolutely ADORE Winnie. As a kid, I already loved her because she is so pretty~
Enjoy!

A overrated nostalgia cartoon in our country, but a finest nonetheless.
A serious cartoon with mature topics. Too bad, you don't have it like today standards.
