This was the FWT stop in Fieberbrunn of 2024!
At the second to last stop of the Freeride World Tour by Peak Performance in Fieberbrunn, the Wildseeloder presented itself under sunny skies and with challenging snow conditions. The 25 participants were chosen between two starting points at 2,118 and 2,080 meters before plunging down the rocky 582-meter face, which has an average gradient of 48 degrees. In the first of two events of the FWT finals, they were allowed to complete two runs, the better of which was included in the ranking – a unique format in the freeride world.
COMPETITION WILL TAKE PLACE ON THURSDAY 08:30
We expect significant weather changes this week with plunging temperatures and persistent precipitation from Monday to Wednesday, likely resulting in 15-20 cm of fresh snow on the Wildseeloder. However, conditions will improve by week’s end with clear sky and no snowfall. Consequently, the competition is planned for Thursday, 14.03.24 at 08:30.
