Street style's unconventional sartorial darling, Julia Fox, just can't resist a good midriff-baring moment.

At the Beverly Hills Polo Lounge earlier this week, the actress stepped out in a matching black set consisting of a teeny top with a keyhole cutout and crisscrossed straps, as well as a low-waisted, body-clinging maxi skirt. The outfit provided ample room for her midriff to once again shine.

Though she eschewed her now unforgettable smeared eyeliner for this outing, she still kept her other accessories in line with the black monochrome theme: pointed booties and Balenciaga's Le Cagole shoulder bag (otherwise known as a Y2K gem).

At this point, Fox's midriff is nearly as ubiquitous as her Uncut Gaaamz meme. The star is frequently spotted out and about in some iteration of an abdominally exposing outfit, whether she DIYed jeans into a bandeau or wiggled her way into a pair of dangerously low-rise leather bottoms.

Last weekend, while attending Vanity Fair's Oscar after-party, Fox made waves with an avant-garde look that forwent her signature midriff accessory. Instead, Fox wore a leather gown whose halter neckline featured a sculpted hand clawed around her neck, courtesy of Balenciaga.

Speaking with The Cut, Fox opened up about feeling pressured to adhere to certain style norms for Hollywood.

"[Her publicity team was] like, 'Oh, they're a little too editorial,' 'It's too sexy. It's too provocative. It's too out there,'" the actress said, adding that her tune has now changed. "I was just like, 'Okay, I guess I just have to be more Hollywood and more bland.' But fuck that narrative if I want to pop out and wear crazy shit—which is what I want to wear," she said.
