Paris Hilton just made an iconic fashion reference—to herself.

Harper's BAZAAR's March 2023 cover star partied in Los Angeles last night at the Klarna & Paris Hilton House of Y2K launch party. Fittingly, she followed the early-aughts theme by re-creating the slinky chainmail dress and matching choker she wore for her 21st birthday back in 2002.

The look, designed by Julien Macdonald, featured a slinky silhouette, cowl neckline, thigh-high leg slit, and bedazzled thick choker necklace. To update the look for 2023, Hilton wore a sparkling silver strapless minidress by Nicole + Felicia, also with a cowl neckline, and a matching glitzy choker. Her accessories were equally dazzling, including glittering silver pumps, fingerless gloves, a clutch, and even sunglasses.

Paris Hilton poses with her June 2007 cover of BAZAAR.

This isn't the first time that Hilton has paid homage to her 21st-birthday outfit. Performing with Miley Cyrus and Sia during a New Year's Eve party, the socialite wore a blush version of the chainmail minidress. And during a DJ gig in Spain back in 2017, Hilton again referenced the look in a rhinestone-encrusted slip and matching choker.

During her new cover story with BAZAAR, Hilton opened up about growing up in the spotlight .

"I feel so proud of the woman that I've become, because for so long I kept all of that with me," she said. "All the negative, horrible words that they would say to me every single day, that sticks with you. I just was not secure. Now I feel that people finally respect me and get me in ways that they never did."
