Arsenal and Manchester City are reportedly tracking Real Madrid talent Bruno Iglesias, with the youngster regarded as one of the most exciting prospects in Spain.

According to Goal, the Premier League duo are keeping tabs on the 18-year-old midfielder, who this season has exploded into life for Madrid at youth level, with Iglesias hitting double figures in both goals and assists, and his form is now attracting attention from Arsenal and City.

Likened to Kaka as per Goal, the teenage prospect has been a sensation for Madrid’s U-19 squad this season, with Iglesias also impressing in the UEFA Youth League for Los Blancos, with the versatile talent bagging three goals and two assists this campaign in the competition.

Labelled as a ‘diamond’ via Goal, Iglesias is yet to play a single minute of senior football for Madrid, with Arsenal and City both lying in wait that the midfielder might opt to leave the Spanish capital in search of regular playing time elsewhere.

Both Premier League clubs have shown an openness to playing youth talent this season, with Arsenal’s entire success this campaign being pinned on Mikel Arteta’s willingness to give quality prospects regular playing time.

Gabriel Martinelli, Bukayo Saka and Emile Smith Rowe have all played huge roles for Arsenal this campaign, and with City also handing multiple youth players their debuts this season, Iglesias could be tempted with a move to the Premier League if Madrid fail to give him minutes in the future.

Madrid have also being a central hub for producing and developing talent, yet academy players actually playing for Los Blancos regularly are few and far between, and this could give Arsenal or City a golden chance at signing Iglesias in the coming years.

A silky midfielder with an eye for goal and a killer pass, many clubs around Europe will be willing to sign Iglesias if the opportunity comes calling, and for Arsenal and City, they could be the favourites to land the talented Spaniard if the opportunity presents itself.
