Trim with care

It takes a moment – many little moments over many years – to create a beautiful bonsai. Each snip and watering is an act of intention for the future. Caring for a bonsai is a calming practice that brings the simplicity, balance and harmony  of nature into your home.

How to bring natural balance to home and mind

Bonsai care connects you to nature and the passage of time, and has meditative qualities that help reduce stress, unleash creativity, and increase focus. It’s a slow, tactile project that teaches us mindfulness and patience, for better decision-making in all aspects of life.

  • It's all about location - find a sunny spot for a happy FICUS bonsai tree.
  • Stick your finger one centimeter into the soil. If the soil feels dry, water it.
  • Use KVALIFICERA scissors to gently prune away any dead foliage and shorten stems that have many leaves. Carefully remove vertically straight branches that do not bend.
  • If the plant seems dry, use a TOMAT spray bottle to spray some mist on the leaves.
  • Repeat daily to allow your vision for the bonsai to take shape.

Lots of love, lots of tools

Caring for a FICUS bonsai tree means showing your love in many different ways. Watering the soil, spraying the leaves with a TOMAT spray bottle and of course pruning with a pair of KVALIFICERA scissors.
