  • Hiedungispuigin was first mentioned in 1113 as the property of the Melk monastery. In 1296 the castle was first mentioned in connection with an Otto von Ydungspiugen. The keystone of the gate bears the year 1192. It can therefore be assumed that a predecessor already existed before 1296. In 1585 the castle, which had been owned by Konrad von Pappenheim from 1578, passed to the barons of Kollonitsch. These gave the plant its current appearance. The current castle is a four-wing building from the 16th and 17th centuries. Nothing is left of the originally medieval building. During renovations, it was found that the basement of the main wing and the lower square part of the tower consist of quarry stone walls, while the upper floors are made of bricks. The gate is emphasized by the tower. This consists of a two-storey cuboid, on which an octagonal structure with a flat pyramid roof is enthroned. In the courtyard there is an arcade made of Tuscan columns. In 1985 the castle was acquired by the municipality of Jedenspeigen. The premises now house a permanent exhibition / documentation of the battle of fate between Rudolf von Habsburg and Ottokar von Böhmen. • The castle, a two-storey square building with a defensive moat, was mentioned in writing as early as 1296 when it was mentioned in a document in connection with Otto von Ydungspiugen. It is reported that the keystone of the formerly Gothic stone gate bore the year 1192. The building is the result of several modifications and extensions. The castle got its current appearance when, after being destroyed in the 15th century, it was rebuilt by the Kollonitsch family on the remains of the old building just before 1600.
