Ferry service March 30 to October 11, 2018:
 April and October Fri, Sat, Sun 10 am to 5 pm;
May and September daily 9:30 - 18 o'clock;
June, July, August Mon - Fri 9:30 am - 6 pm, Sat and Sun 9 am - 6 pm;
No waiting - immediate crossings!

A very nice round trip at the Welterbesteig is possible in combination with the ferries in Dürnstein and Weißenkirchen.
Attention! Note ferry times ...... and .... in the winter no ferry service (inform before)

Here is advertised, with the ferry to the best photo place of the Wachau. If you have a round trip hiking or cycling before then the ferry is an option instead of a bridge - and there you can tell something experienced.
