Wallfahrtskirche Maria Luggau

In 1513, a farmer's wife was commissioned in a dream to build a church on her wheat field. She began construction against all resistance in the village and after some persuasion she received great support. Around 30 years later, the church was completed according to the plans of the master builder Bartlmä Firtaler.

A visit to the monastery garden is also worthwhile for anyone interested in botanical science.

The building is worth a visit.
