Wallfahrtsbasilika Maria Taferl

I only knew the church by name. When I was in the area, I had to go. A beautiful church. Makes a huge impression from the outside with the large forecourt. From the inside then, very nice. Especially the candle chamber.
You have a wonderful view of the valley outside.

The view of the basilica from up close is quite impressive, the baroque interior design still has its effect today. However, the view of the simple candle chapel with Madonna touches me much more. Traditional souvenirs are still available, but there are also colorful alternatives.

A walk to the pilgrimage basilica Maria Taferl is highly recommended during the day and also in the evening. We were surprised at what we could expect.
