Autoschleuse Tauernbahn Böckstein

The Tauernbahn car lock is the only way to get from the Gasteinertal to the Mölltal.

Here you can load your bike onto the Tauernbahn and after a few minutes you will arrive in Mallnitz on the south side of the tunnel. There are a lot of cyclists here at peak times in summer, as the route is part of the Alpe Adria cycle path.

From Böckstein the train always takes 20 minutes to Voll.
Very relaxed. There have recently been large bicycle wagons at the back, which are also easier to load.

Fast connection between Salzburg and Carinthia. There is no bike path over the mountain.
